 Hot air ballooning in Nepal is popular among tourists as it offers a spectacular view of the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges. The best months for hot air balloon flights are October, November and March. The balloon takes off from Thimi, near the historic town of Bhaktapur. Reservation for a balloon flight can be made through travel agents. Tickets must be purchased at least three days before the flight. |
